[[ Auuugh… I’m so sorry about the lack of updates on this blog. I’ve been incredibly busy with work (pharmaceuticals is srs bsns) and my life outside of tumblr. Haha… What life outside of tumblr?
Anyway, I’ll try to catch up on these asks I’ve been receiving. Keep sending them in, and spread the word that I’m slowly coming back. <3 ]]
THE COP IN SILENT HILL 1 /IS/ CYBILL? ALL THIS TIME I’M LIKE WHO IS THIS CYBILL GIRL AND WHY ARE THEY SHIPPING HER WITH HARRY, HARRY TOTALLY GOES WITH THE COP

I even introduced myself to him… and I know he said my name multiple times…
Where the hell is this confusion coming from? D8>
[[ Not picking fun at the original poster, but my inner Cybil just WOULD NOT SHUT UP until I made this. ]]
Lust: Something that I find attractive.
Pride: Something that I like about myself.
Sloth: Something that I dislike about myself.
Envy: Something I wish I was better at.
Gluttony: One of my favorite foods.
Wrath: Something that gets me angry.
Greed: Something I can’t get enough of.Come at me bro~☆
Sure, why not. I need something to do.
[[ Actually, no, I was very pleased with it. And not just because of Anne.
Honestly? Fuck the haters. I thought the game looked badass from the moment I saw the first trailer they released.
Once I played the actual game, I found Murphy to be a much more realistic protagonist compared to his predecessors. Instead of running around, acting really chill and calm about everything, he actually got scared and made those fears known to the audience through his reactions, dialogue, screams, etc. His story was much more compelling to me than most of the other protagonists’ as well (those who have finished the game will understand what I mean), which kept me going.
On that note, I loved the plotline. Everything tied in nicely, and while some of the events might be construed as a “twist”, I’m grateful for the fact that it wasn’t some bullshit, “OH HEY, BY THE WAY” twist that they suddenly throw at you… They made sense. It’d been building up to those moments throughout the game.
Also, the game actually made me uncomfortable in so many ways. The whole reason I play horror games is for the plotlines, and to be scared. Downpour was the first game (let alone installment in the Silent Hill series) in quite some time to legit scare me at times.
Anyway… I could go on, but I won’t bore you with my opinions. I’ll just go ahead and say this: If you’re torn between buying the game and overlooking it, GET IT. I think it’s a wonderful experience. ]]
O-oh… uh, well, that’s… hrm. I really don’t know what to say to that…
[[ ffff, yes. My OTP. I’ll illustrate something for this later. ;w; <3 ]]
Since I haven’t been able to do much lately :T
[[ Huh. Not a bad idea. Wish I could do some picture responses, but my computer won’t run my tablet software… ]]
I do, actually! Well, she’s not a police dog, necessarily, but she’s mine none the less.
Her name is Peanut, and she likes to chew on my hair while I’m trying to sleep.
[[ Huh… I was wondering when I’d get this question. I’m sorry for spamming your dashboard with the length of this answer, but…
—Note: If you’re easily offended/butthurt, I wouldn’t recommend continuing.—
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about both. There are parts of the fandom that I adore — namely, the true fans that actually play the games, rather than wiki-ing all the information and calling themselves a fan. The Silent Hill experience is one that should be (for lack of a better term) experienced first-hand, rather than through a bunch of words on a website.
Also regarding the fandom: I love the RPers that keep their characters, well… in-character. A joke or a bit of crack every now and then is alright, but turning an amazing, well-developed character into some blushing UGUU DESU KAWAII UKE… is not.
I won’t call myself an elitist — heaven knows I loved Homecoming and Origins, and I’m definitely looking forward to Downpour — but I have my own opinions on certain subjects. For example, I don’t understand why the majority of the fandom (from what I’ve seen) thinks that Pyramid Head is a manifestation of everyone’s guilt. He belongs in James’ psyche (“That’s why I needed you… Needed someone to punish me for my sins…”), and James’ alone.
As for the ask bloggers… I’m not going to lie and say “OMG I LOVE THEM ALL”. There are a few that I don’t particularly get along with, for personal reasons, and no, I won’t mention names. There are also those that tend to spam the dashboard with either reblogs or responses to other blogs, and I’ll admit, I’m all for keeping an ask blog as an ask blog. There are others, however, that I really adore and talk to on a daily basis (you know who you are). They’ve never let me down, and always know how to bring a smile to my face.
I believe that we have some truly talented artists in the group, and I envy the majority of them. Their work is clearly going to take them very far in life, while mine is obviously just going to be a hobby. Some of them have become very close friends of mine, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to those that have always been there for me. Love you guys.
Anyway, that’s enough ranting for now. I’ll start back up on answering questions once I get a new wire for my tablet. My old one is jacked up.

… what, so I went out once with Richard. Get over it. He’s a nice guy, and pretty funny once you get to know him. It’s nothing serious… just two friends going out to dinner.
[[ My Valentine this year was Richard Braintree. c: Hope it looks okay, buddy.
It felt so weird to draw Cybil out of her uniform, so I just threw a blue button-down on her. OTL ]]
